How does the role of CRS differ from that of an insurance broker?
Insurance brokers focus primarily on purchasing insurance policies on your behalf and are compensated based on the insurance purchased. Our primary mission is unearthing vulnerabilities--especially those that could blindside an operation--and then structuring insurance and financial solutions that address these exposures and facilitate your current and future transactions. Our specialty is helping clients to use insurance market capital in innovative ways to enhance and advance investment strategies. To do this we draw on well-established relationships and contacts throughout the global insurance industry; we have no allegiance to any single brokerage firm, insurance carrier or industry players, but deep knowledge of and relationships with virtually all of them.

Our work typically complements and expands on the work of your insurance broker.
Why do I need CRS if I have a risk manager?
CRS expands the reach and resources of your risk manager or risk management department. We work as an extension of your internal resources, infusing all the benefits of our formidable industry relationships and experience into your firm.

How does CRS get paid?
We are compensated based on a pre-set annual fee which is agreed upon in advance. The fee reflects the complexity of the engagement and the account team and resources required. We have found that clients like the budgeting stability of this flat-fee structure. Our clients have enjoyed that our fee is typically more than offset by the insurance savings and the risk management program enhancements we gain for them.

How do your services compare with those of other consultants?
CRS goes beyond recommending insurance and conducting risk management due diligence to provide excellence in execution. We don't just uncover what you need, we deliver it, navigating the world of insurance and financial services on your behalf to secure essential solutions and capital.
