Paul Selsor brings over 25 years of professional insurance and benefits
advisory experience to CRS. Prior to joining CRS in 2011, Paul founded
and led for over a decade the alternative asset benefits practice of a
U.S. insurance consultancy, advising on hundreds of engagements for
domestic and European investment fund clients. Engagements included
transaction services, ongoing stewardship and specialty projects for
fund entities and their underlying portfolio assets, including, but not
limited to, enterprise value impact analyses and portfolio-wide
aggregation engagements aimed at substantially impacting overall cost,
terms and service delivery by client brokerage partners.
Previously, Paul worked with a large regional brokerage in Los Angeles
focusing on group benefit plans. Paul began his career in the insurance
and benefits market as a paralegal for a major Los Angeles law firm
focusing on insurance coverage disputes between insurance carriers and
their insured's.
Paul holds a B.A. in Political Science from The University of
California at Los Angeles. He holds both Property & Casualty and Life &
Health insurance licenses and is an active member in the private
equity, hedge fund and venture capital community as well as an active
member of the Association of Capital Growth (ACG). Paul is active with
many greater Los Angeles area charities and has served on several
charitable and community boards, including the La Canada Flintridge
Educational Foundation.
