Joseph F. Coughlin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Risk Solutions. He has over 30 years of experience in the consulting, advisory, underwriting and brokerage segments of the insurance industry. Over the course of his career he has completed numerous complex engagements and provided ongoing stewardship services for many of the largest and most intricate transactions within the private equity and distressed debt markets.
Before forming CRS in March of 2002, Joe founded and served as President of JFC Consulting, Inc., which he built into the largest centralized block of private equity insurance buying power in the industry before selling to a large insurance brokerage.
Joe is an active investor in a number of private equity and venture capital partnerships as well as individual start-up companies. Over the years he has served on many for-profit and not-for-profit boards and currently sits on the Board of Regents at the University of Hartford, the Executive Board of the Westchester-Putnam Council of the Boy Scouts of America, The University of Notre Dame Arts and Letters Advisory Council, and Youth, I.N.C.
Joe graduated from the University of Hartford and is an Eagle Scout.
